Why are we doing this again?
It was YOUR idea!
Whatever…
Well, what should we write?
Remind everyone it was our 20th wedding anniversary? Twenty years. Wow.
Right! But we celebrated with a wonderful trip back to Victoria, B.C. where we got married, and we got to visit Aunt Deb and Ann. And we saw our friends Tom and Jenny and their kids. Other than the people, I think the highlight was that pair of whales we saw breaching on our whale watching trip.
That was crazy!
The nephew just wrapped up another successful semester here at UT. Sunday dinners are so nice.
So nice, but we’re gonna have to discuss the food budget for next year.
Although I do suspect all my good cooking is fueling all Bridger's learning.
You are truly fueling the engine of knowledge. You know, it was a big year for Dr. Aunt Linda.
Camp Dr. Aunt Linda was so much fun this year. I cannot wait to see where Aspen decides to go to school!
Both the niblings in college! And geez, you won the Vick Advising award, and your Reacting to the Past game book grows ever closer to publication. Need I even mention Willow and all the horse show ribbons?
Oh, you must. Willow insists. I mean, the year has been pretty stellar. But Willow worked really hard going over all those jumps so we could win all those prizes at our local horse show circuit.
I leave it to way smarter than me to say which is harder to get them to do what you want: a college kid or a 1000 lbs horse.
Food seems to motivate both of them pretty well.
We made some pretty great meals in 2024.
You made some really great meals in 2024. But Easter with Bridger and Mom and your Dad was pretty awesome.
And I can’t remember what we ate, but I know it was delicious. Thanksgiving was great again with your Mom and my Dad here. Having him just 3 miles down the road means we can focus on the eating and not the traveling.
And indeed, that should be the focus. I’m so glad Mom doesn’t mind too much having to do the traveling part. Still crazy to me that she moved just around the corner from the old house in Plano. But it’s hard to get her down here and away from all her new friends up there.
Who’d wanna miss Winddown Wednesday?
…
Do you think your brother will be mad we put him on our holiday card?
Jeremy? In that jacket? I don’t think so.
And Nicole just got the perfect pic. Like my sister-in-law always does.

We would like to take a moment to remember our beloved friend Gordon Ford who passed away this year.
We love you, Bubba.
